Notification Area

When installing a new skin (noire theme) from wincustomize, I lost the ability to hide my notificatino area in the lower right habd corner... now all icons are showing. In other words I do not have the "little arrow" to hide and unhide the icons. I have tried everything I know... how can I fix this? It is more of a bother than anything. I just like the minimal amount of stuff showing anywhere on my laptop. PLEASE HELP!

If you right-click your clock and select Customize Notifications..., you can't set icons to be hidden?

tried that, checked the box that says hide inactive icons.. still no luck... i think it has something to do with skin settings in windowblinds, although I cannot find it

There are no settings in WindowBlinds that control system tray filtering. Windows does sometimes make me wonder how it determines if an icon is inactive though. You do have the option to always hide icons, if you want. I have most of mine set to always hide, except for a couple that I use regularly.
