Icons and wallapaper not changing

The toolbars and buttons change when i apply a skin, but the desktop background and icons remain un-changed. ie; the custom icon bottons and backgrounds dont take affect. why is this. can someone help me. I am using windowblinds 4.5. thanks!!

For backgrounds to take effect, the background image must be in the skin folder when using WB 4.5. If the author did not include any background image, there will be none applied.

For icons, you must have IconPackager installed, although I have yet to see these apply globally via WB.

I would suggest using IconPackager to change system icons (if this is what you are referring to). Note - If you are unfamiliar with IconPackager, it can change many common system icons and any file icons that are contained in the package which also exist on your system.
