I dunno....catching the hair in the chain/spokes ain't real good...downright painful, in fact. Must be a safety first thing for the overly hirsute...preventing front wheel lock- up, being thrown head-long over the handlebars into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

Oh Floyd, you idiot.

Cycling just about INVENTED drug-taking in sport....surely you weren't expecting to get away with it?

Testosterone....your balls were bigger than your brains.

Congrats to the OTHER riders....

What a stupid thing to do. Cheats never prosper.

Cheats never prosper.

You really haven't been paying attention to professional sports the last decade or so if you believe that. Look at NASCAR the biggest name in the sport is Dale Earnhart who was the biggest cheat for years before the whole "live by the sword" thing caught up to him. Same with baseball, football (American) and just about anywhere in sports where money gets involved. Most of the really good cheats have multi-million dollar lifestyles because they're hard to catch. When they finally do get caught it's no big surprise and they still got their millions.

Be careful in quickly casting aspersions on Floyd. The media has been reporting that he had a "high" level of testosterone, when in fact the report from phonak says he had an irregular result - a result that could have been lower. Bicycling.com has an excellent editorial about the incident. Velonews.com also has been fair in its coverage, although it is depending on some of the AP wire stuff that talks about "high" testosterone levels.

Cheats never prosper.

Tell that to those Executives, from those Multi-Billion Dollar Companies, that went bankrup because the exec's stole hundreds of millions.

Specifics are not needed...we all know who they are.
