Seperators in ObjectDock again!

Ok i didnt get to try out the information i was given last time, just figured it would work, but when it came down to it, im still not a happy camper...


I put in a bunch of seperators on my tabbed object dock in order to make my weather icon show up on the far right side of the dock... problem is, when i went to add another icon to the tab, the weather got pushed onto the next screen and was replaced with the + option...

I want to remove the seperators, but i cant accually see them or click on them... people had advised to just right click on them and it would give an option to remove it, or to grab it and drag it off... problem is, the space is there, but the bar isnt... so it looks really nice, but i got nothing to grab or click on, when i rightclick the space it just gives me options to add more or edit docks etc, nothing to remove... i am using the blackmetal baground, i tried switching to default and everything but dont have the ability to get rid of the seperators


short of removing the tab and making a new one, is there another way besides the two i listed above to get rid of them....

and if not is there a way to just simply make a new tab and rearrange its order?? i tried holding and dragging and all different things, cant figure that out either, which drives me nuts cause i could just make a new tab and then drag it over into position and get rid of seperators that way...

somebody help me its driving me nuts !!!!

Move icons back to the left, this will put separators to right of icons, you can then click them and drag them off the dock. Seems on a tabbed dock can only grab them when they are at right end of icons.

Yes, do as Cavan said...there is no need to create another tabbed dock when the separators are all there. You'll know when you dragged them off by the poof animation.

Thanks alot guys, didnt think to move ALL the icons to the left like that and then grabbing for the invis seperators... worked like a charm

Seems on a tabbed dock can only grab them when they are at right end of icons.

Hold down the shift key, while you click and drag.
