Problem

involving window blinds

I bought the newest version of windowblinds quite some time ago and it has been working fine...just recently after a reboot i had the win98 skin so i clicked on window blinds and a popup said that i need a reboot after installing this version of WB5, this was weird cuz i installed a long time ago...so i clicked reboot now and it still doesnt work...any solutions

(this may have to do with recent spyware/adware problem?)

system tray - do you have sdmcp.exe running?

do you have SDC? if so, do you have it set to update automatically?

SDC - https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/

Once installed - register your product(s) [tools > settings or 'registration info' down on bottom right
In settings - general = there is an option to enable MCP notification area support (used by dock, dtx, ob, to bring in the systray info)

If you installed the standalone version, try uninstalling it (move your skins somewhere first) then use SDC to download and install.

SDC will also show any new released versions - you only get betas as an ODNT subscriber.
