Weird... Pauses when browsing Wincustomize

For some reason, for a month now, IE just stops responding for about 2 to 5 seconds when opening Wincustomize site.

No other site has this problem.

Same issues here but I do get it on other sites. I recently tried IE7. I didn't like the skinning conflicts so I reinstalled 6 and ever since I have had that pause. Thought it was my ie6 but maybe not.

I've noticed that recently when I browse to WC I inistially see some ads (and the login fields) on the frontpage which goes away when everything is loaded. That was really confusing me to begin with as I thought I kept getting logged out.

I've been getting some pauses too, specially when browsing the forums. The page initially loads and then CPU usage goes up to 100% for a few seconds, with IE being the culprit. The IE window stops responding until CPU usage goes back to normal.

I think it might be the site meter...at the bottom of the page....but I can never check it...as the scroll won't work during the freeze [naturally].

Page loads fine....but you cannot scroll for 3 to 5 seconds after it has obviously finished loading....

I have the problem too. Very new to the site. Some of the pages take close to a min. to open. Kind of aggrivating when I have a pretty fast DSL. Slow server perhaps?

I've kinda suspected that sitemeter was causing slowdowns as well for some time now...it was nothing really major...but at the bottom of my browser it shows how fast everything is loading and when it gets to the last thing...sitemeter...it pauses for a few seconds.

I keep getting this as well... http://members.tripod.com/mrnatural3/HomepageGlitch.JPG
