Scoring?

Howdy everyone.

I was wondering simply how exactly scoring is figure out for a game...I'd like to have some basic idea of what I can expect when starting out, relative to difficulty options and map size and the like. I essentially have not a clue currently.

Thank-you for joining our empire. Welcome to the Orcas. If you have played turn based games before you should not have too much difficulty starting at around the normal level on a medium map. If you are just getting started don't worry. Start at one of the easiest levels on a small or tiny map until you get a feel for the game. Also, if you go to my original recruiting post " For a Whale of a good time join the B.C. Space Orcas" you will find a lot of game advice. Post any questions you have about the game there. We have a lot of skillfull players in our empire that are more than willing to share their expertise. If you click on Metaverse Talk in the forums you will find the post I just mentioned. It is always near the top as we post there often. Hope to to see you there. TBAY

You guys are like a bad tv commercial... Stop advertising when a question is asked having nothing to do with joining an empire.

I would like some clue as well as to what causes the score to never have the same relation to your total score... (i.e. Sometimes it's about 30% of your total points, or sometimes your score is 40% of your total points)

Zerogman ShrineGuard had just joined our empire before I answered this post. I try to welcome all of our new members. If you did the same maybe your empire would grow at a rate comparible to ours. Also, you are not a forum warden. Ifyou can't stand the heat move to Antartica. TBAY
