Pregnancy pics

No pics of me today because, well, I don't feel like it. But here's one of my favorites.

Real or photo-shopped: You decide!

I'm guessing it was digitally-produced, but I love it!

And here are some scary ultrasound photos we got yesterday. I say scary because in this first one you can see right through the little baby's eyelids, which of course makes it appear like it's staring right at you with no eyelids at all. *Shiver*

This one is zoomed in on the foot while the baby was curled in a ball sleeping.

The technician, who seemed scared to death of lawsuits and wouldn't let us record the proceedings, nor would he let us even watch the imagery until he was "done," was even hesitant to tell me that it's a girl.

A girl!

OK, it MIGHT be a girl. But I'll be getting plenty of ultrasounds throughout this pregnancy so we'll see again next time.

I remember my first child and his foot. It felt just like the pic you presented. I was always moving his big foot around from the outside so I could get comfy. I could actually feel the shape of it. Great pics.

I'm glad you enjoyed that "foot in womb" picture too. My friend Jenn emailed it to me ages ago. She sends the most amazing emails.

I was always moving his big foot around from the outside so I could get comfy.

So you were really in tune with what was going on in your womb, wow. Hmmm, if you were keenly aware of his foot poking at you from the inside, maybe such a photo could be possible then? With the right lighting maybe... who knows?

Glad to see you are doing so well. Ultrasounds are great. Are you going to get a 3-d one?

I'll need to get in with the "in" crowd around here because they're not available unless 1) we drive hours away and spend hundreds of dollars; or 2) get in good with the doctors here who have the machines.

I've asked about it and the closest I've gotten is with my latest U/S technician. He says he's got a friend who buys and distributes those machines, and his wife got to get a free one done in his garage. I hinted that I ought to get to know his friend, but that didn't get me anywhere.

I'm not as bold as you are I know you'd see no obstacle in this situation, you'd just offer to make them a web site or something and they'd give you a free 3-D in return, right? hehe.
