Dialog box border vanishes

I am having problems with any skin that uses Per Pixel settings and Excel. If I open a find dialog it draws OK, but if I select the 'Options' button it only redraws the dialog with the old panel background dimension - the borders and extra details are transparent.
If I ALT-TAB then the screen is redrawn correctly, or if I click on the invisible top border it redraws OK.
