What happened today....

Woke up 9:30.......school starts at 8:00.
I triped 5 times while walking up and down the stairs to go to my classes.
I got a 20 out of 100 on my math test.
I had a NEW YORK Science LAB test today......TOTALLY UNEXPECTED!!
It was raining like hell and my umbrella broke as soon as i walked only two blocks.
I was wet....duh...

Just found an officejet d135 from HP outside near the garbage can.

Huh...can't trust anyone these days! Asked a guy to pick it up from the repair shop for me - seems he briefly left it unattended to answer a call of nature - and now you have it. Bah!

Tell ya what, Bash, gimme the $500 it cost to repair and its yours.

Ohhh... that's just where I dropped mine. I'll be by to pick it up in an hour...

hmmmm..
Let me see if I can keep this short...
Move to SC in 2003.
Can't get work cause I'm a 'Yankee' and I talk funny.
Finally get a good FT in March 2004.
Catch boss looking at naked women on YMCA computer.
Lose job.
Get new job Jan 2005.
Go to doc for bad headaches.
Tested for..braintumor, lupos, arthritis, heart problems, etc, etc.
30% blockage in heart.
MRI reveals severe stenosis as I begin to lose the use of my legs.
April 2005 have spinal fusion
8 weeks recovery turns into 8 months and over 20 spinal/epidural steroid shots, more MRI's, xrays, etc.
Finally return to work last month for 2 weeks training, ends up 4 (and possibly more) weeks trouble shooting and 4 hours on the road every day and some weekends.

But, I forget to look at the good things..
Married when I moved to SC in 2003
Old boss at YMCA is a putz and the church (More of a cult) he belongs to, (that I used to)that covered for him is about to find out that what goes around comes around.
Job I found in 2005 stould by me thru recovery and am still working for them. And given promotion.
Pain is gone, legs good.
Oh, yeah, and at 42 (will be 43 in August) my wife has informed me that I am to be a Daddy for the first time, just this past week.

Friend of mine who joined the army came back from boot camp to be told he was about to become a dad.....he did some math (got it wrong) and came out with: " So we're gonna have a grudge baby!!"

When his wife asked what he meant by it, he replied: "Somebody had it in for me!!"
