Minimize to tray doesn't work

I have a couple of applications which are resident in the system tray (such as the Spybot S&D TeaTimer). After installing WindowBlinds, they insist on appearing in the task bar. Even after I unload (not uninstall) WindowBlinds from memory, they still won't behave. Is there maybe a registry tweak for this?

check the setting in WB configuration - see if you have a setting that causes conflict - not at home, so I'm guessing in 'user overrides' - I think it's somewhere in 'advanced'

In "User Overrides" there's a check box under "Advanced Settings": "Make minimize button minimize to the tray." This option tries to send apps to the tray instead of the taskbar, but doesn't work because anything that gets sent to the tray is being forced to the taskbar, even apps which normally don't need to be forced to the tray by an override.

Isn't anyone else having this problem? It's supremely annoying, especially with ZoneAlarm alerts, and I know a lot of people use ZoneAlarm.

try a pre WB 5 skin and see if it works

find a skin from around sept or back
