Downloads no longer download

Stardock central or wincustomize browser will result in the download failure

I recently had to restore my pc back to an earlier time because of a crash. Everything works except the ability to download and install from stardock or wincustomize. Please, can you point me in the direction i need to go to fix this problem. It has been 2 days now so i assume it isn't a server problem. All the themes update, i'm able to log on fine. I can do everything but download. I have win xp x2 4800amd cpu 2gigs of memory and a geforce 7800 video card.

I occasionally have the same issue, don't know why...no predictable sequence...however, I right-click on the download link, choose "save target as", then put it in the "My Downloads" folder I made on my desktop. Sometimes it's an anti-spam issue, so I disable anti-spam 'til I've got the download. Hope this helps...

try changing servers in tools > settings > internet
