Vacation Photos

It's been awhile...a lot has happened...
I'm pregnant, but I disagree with my doctor who says I'm 16 weeks and 4 days along. What makes them think they know better than I when my husband & I got together?! I know for a fact it was 15 weeks and one day ago. So THERE!
Here's the baby's ultrasound from 11 weeks (although my doctor says it was 12 wks 3 days, BAH!):

I know it doesn't look like much. When we were watching the screen in live action the baby was clear and jumping around actively...but then the doctor froze the frame on THIS? My guess is that it's more expensive for the hospital to take decent pictures, so they give us crappy ones instead. Haha.
And here's me at about 14 weeks:

My 2-year-old took that picture. He's awesome. Here's a sampling of one of the millions of pictures he took of himself that day too ~~ cutie pie:

So the reason we were playing with the camera that day? We were packing for vacation and of course had to pack the camera...and sweet procrastination at the heinous task of packing led us to play games instead. Hehe.
Most of the "pictures" we took during vacation were home movies, but here are a few still shots I managed to get.

Michael is truly always that cute. He can't help it :o)

Father 'n Son, cute as can be.

John & Michael with my paternal Grandma. She's 80 years old and going strong

Michael dressed up as a fireman at the Denver Children's Museum

My husband dressed up as a squirrel (?) at the Denver Children's Museum

John & Michael at the Denver Aquarium, gorgeous guys in front of a gorgeous backdrop.

In Colorado Springs visiting John's brother & family...here I am pushing MIchael around in a boat. Strange things happen with that child after temper tantrums, like sitting naked in his cousin's boat. Anything to make him happy.

Cathy & me. My pseudo-mom.

Heather & me. (Oh my gosh I didn't realize until now that my blouse is see-through.) Heather is my longest-lasting friend of 15 years. If her mom is my pseudo-mom, then Heather is my sister.

We made a slight detour on the way back to North Dakota. How could we miss Mt. Rushmore? The best parts of that tourist trap were the other attractions, like alpine slides (yippeee!) and old-west photo studios.

John surprised me with his eagerness to be in some fun pictures with Michael. I opted out of being photographed that day.
Aren't they adorable?!
So those are the highlights, at least of the still photos. The movies are much more telling...some day I may go back and edit those...but even posting pictures takes forever!!!!
