I wanted to ask two questions about Galactic Civs2 this is my first time playing the game and i love it and i wanted to know what would be the best connection for playing on the internet DSL or Cable and also what Techs should you boost up first Military or Dipolmatics

Connection shouldn't really matter, since data's only sent and received seldomly. As for what to research first, it depends on how you want to play If you want to wipe everyone out fast, militarys the way to go. If you want to buy off your neighbors and wage your battles through proxy, then diplomacy is your best friend.

Again, half the fun is picking the way you want to play and messing around with differnet combinations. Enjoy
