skin disabled when WB is unloaded

how come windowblinds unloaded gets rid of the cool skin that I applied and when its loaded the skin come sback on?
do I have to keep the program running to keep the skin applied?

Yes.

Just like you have to have Winamp loaded just so you can see its 'cool skin'...
