How do I copy preferences from one machine to another?

Would like to have identical ObjectDockPlus on both desktop and notebook system

Currently I have ObjectDockPlus loaded and all setup on my desktop system. I would like to install ObjectDockPlus on my notebook system and have the Dock(s) setup exactly the same way. Ideally I would like to be able to copy the preferences file from the Desktop system to the notebook system, and not have to creat matching docks by hand. Does anyone know where the preference file is located?

Thanks,

Derik

This is how I do it. First I would save my settings as a theme. Then you need to move the saved (or packaged but I have never used that) theme settings to the computer you want (make sure that the same programs are installed and you put all icons and backgrounds in the same locations. Look for the theme you saved, it is in the "Themes" folder where you installed ObjectDock (default is C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Themes) look for the .ini file with the name you gave your theme (you may need to make it so Windows shows extensions for known file types - open a folder >> go to the Tools menu >> select Folders Options... >> select the View tab >> remove check from Hide extensions for known file types) Copy that theme to you other computer and open the theme from inside of ObjectDock. I also make a copy and rename the it to "DefaultCurrentTheme.ini" and put it in the ObjectDock folder so that any new user gets that same theme. I do this at my school and my student love the toolbar and I don't have to show them how to configure the dock to get the programs. I hope this works for you, it does for me (usually).
