I am honored to view it!  And even more, I am awed and respect the man who wears it.  A great man.  As is fitting to be married to a great lady.

What an awesome Rack, Karen! (((( and your husband's is pretty impressive too ;~D )))))

Anyone with a V device (for Valor) has a special place in my heart! (and so does his wife, the one who went through it all, but didn't get the medal)

Very nice rack but not what I pictured in my mind (dammit)...

I spent 10 years in the Australian Airforce and never received a single medal. I received letters of commendation from numerous people, including a USAF Colonel but no medals.

Recently, however, I found out the Australian government has approved a medal for those who served over their initial sign on period (me!). I have to apply to get the medal, which I'm doing at the moment.

Now all I gotta find myself is a chest to pin it on
