Also, users have asked about the status of the GUI Championships.  We originally planned to do this in March but the website issues that have been cropping up have taken precedence.  We don't feel that we should take on doing a major multi-site contest like that until we get our house here in order.  The plan is to do this later this summer

Hmm...problems still bugging the site ey? Well i hope there will be later this year. It's a real nice institution.

PS: I've seen the announcements, but i was waiting for more news on the subject. Maybe it could be hosted here in WC only. Since the inter-site idea seems to have difficulties in organising.

I think they have to do a few more weeks (months?) of work to do on WC before the GUI Champs go foward. And after that, they'll have to figure out how exactly to hold the GUI Champs.

All we can do is wait patiently.
