Beta4z- program loop on minor icon causing system-resource freeze up?

Rather than wait till I get a list of comments I thought I had better report this one in case anyone else does what I did.
On the Trade screen, the globe icon - one of three (I think it used to say 'eat dust' or something) seems to have a program loop which over about 5 seconds slows the program to an effective stop with CPU usage at 100%. There is no way out of this loop other than c-a-d to desktop and XP really didn't like it.
