Problem with window blinds and yahoo messenger

Hello, i have some roblem with window blinds and yahoo messenger.

When i oppened yahoo messenger for first time and i click right on window.. he will close..

How could i fix that? I setted yahoo to be ignored by window blinds in "per applicatiojn" settings.. and nothing..

You are not alone. I finally decided to uninstall WindowsBlinds until a fix is available.

What a waste of money this software is turning out to be. Just a bunch of headaches, hassles and conflicts with other programs.

A long time ago we modified WB to ignore certain parts of Yahoo messenger due to their skinning messing with WB dlls in memory.  This worked ok until yahoo decided to change their filenames.

The beta releases of WB know about this new filename and all works ok again.

If you exclude the process from WB then it will work perfectly.  Make sure you excluded the right exe.

Personally I am annoyed with Yahoo for randomly changing their filenames especially when they have been made aware of the conflict in the past and have the ability to prevent the conflict at their end.

for me my ym works fine except when i installed windowblinds...
but changing my ym's skin to classic did the job and now my ym works fine....

maybe there is a conflict between yahoo's skinning and windowblinds...

Yahoo messenger: 8.1.0.421
Windowblinds 5 enhanced

also tested with windowblinds 6 enhanced./....

I've been using YM v9.0.0.922(beta)for several months and have no problems at all with it conflicting with WB6 or MC. Version9 also comes with 7 skins and I've tried them all,and use both WB6 and YM daily. You may want to upgrade YM to version9, it has other improved features over version8 and is very stable. AVOID YM for Vista(beta) buggy as hell. :D
