How to make things rotate...

Hi yall Pro1337! I have a question.
How do u guys make things rotate? Do u paint the whole thing or are u using any program?
Would be very happy if some1 could help me..

The "rotation" is basically just a series of images pasted together.  You can use aniutil to take several images and create one image file.

well, i think i was'nt really clearly, i mean how to make the cursor spin vertically like the original skin that comes with cursorXP, gear.

Yes you were, it is animation done by image used, see post # 1 by Island Dog for links for more info.

Grab your monitor and spin it....really hard! There ya go...rotating cursor!

Do u paint the whole thing or are u using any program?

depends on what you have and use.

some 'paint' the whole thing. some use progs like 3dmax. which ever way you do it, you still need to put it into a png strip. some programs will save as an animated gif, then you separate the frames and put them back as a png
