Can't register GalCivII=Can't Play, help please!

Hopefully someone at Stardock can help me out. I purchased the new copy of GalCiv II Collectors Edition from Wal-Mart. I successfully registered both my passwords 1) for the Game 2) for the Bonus Content on this website.
I installed the game, manually updated the game to v1.1 and i'm locked out cause the game requires activation. The system where the game is installed is offline as I use a Mac for internet only. I followed the instructions and I clicked on activate by email. I entered the serial number from the back of the cd case. It gave me a dialog box to cut and paste to email to: [email protected]
Ok so I cut and paste the subject message, and the info in the message body. I sent off the email and I get a email response saying activation was unsuccessful.
Here's my email reply from Stardock:
Hello. The activation email you sent to [email protected] has had a problem
while parsing and was unable to generate a sig.bin file.
The information from your original email has been resent to [email protected]
for them to attempt to track down what was unhappy.
If you have previously activated this product, please make sure you are entering
the same email address as that prior activation.

Please make sure you have entered your email address correctly (especially if
you have previously activated this product) and that you have entered the serial
number correctly.
You _must_ use the email address you originally registered or activated the
product under.

Trust me I have entered the information correctly as I tried it 4 times. Tech Support won't be too thrilled with me either as they have 4 activation retries from me.
Stardock please help as I want to play this game as I hear it's awesome.
