HELP!!! I CAN'T FIGURE THIS OUT!!!

I cannot figure out how to add the 'cheat' command line into a shortcut to the exe through notepad... I have checked all the sites but they are all just leeched off one another... If someone would please send me an explanation as to how to do it, it would be much appreciate... Intended for single-player use.

Everytime I do add the 'cheat' line in the EXE, it makes a corrupted shortcut file... Anyone, please LOOK!

Make a shortcut. right click and go to properties. Under the shortcut menu, copy the following link into target:

"C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe" cheat

I could mention that theres at least 2 threads of Stardock folks showing us this if one tried to use the forum search.
