Regular + Tabbed Dock

I don't understand why you're forced to choose either "Tabbed" or "Regular" Dock when creating a new dock.

What's so different about the two types of docks?

I wish that tabbed docks would auto-expand, and not be fixed width.

You can make tabbed docks any size you want. But I'm with you about auto resizing....

What for? It's not like you're constantly adding/removing icons all the time (at least I'm not!). Then, once you've got the icons you want, size the dock accordingly - what's the big deal ?

For everyone that wants a feature you can be sure that there'll be another who is against it!
