A little problem

Just tried again. Here is the scenario of events:

~ I go to www.wincustomize.com
~ I log on as usual
~ I make sure I'm logged on by looking at the top of the page. I see Welcome Citizen Theoden of Rohan!
~ I click on Edit account
~ I click on Upload / Edit your desktop image.
~ I try to "Delete Desktop"
-or-
~ I try to "Update Desktop"

~ I get the error "Wincustomize Warning You have attempted to access a page that is only available to registered users. If you are already a member of wincustomize click here to logon. If you have not yet signed up for the free account please click here to begin receiving the many benefits of being a registered user."

I figure the place to go to get help is the Message Boards over there, but when I try to submit a message I get the same error as above.

I can clearly see that I am logged in, so what's the deal?? I hate asking over here, but since I can't access the Message Boards over there I really don't have anywhere else to ask.

So can anybody at Stardock give me a hand?

I know that they had some problems with the databse for the images at wincustomize because I had to resubmit my image, somehow got wiped out a bunch of them , but I reloaded with no problems, so really I don't know what is wrong, my only sugestion would be to log again and then hit refresh, maybe you got some corrupted cookies or something like that.

make sure the filename doesn't have a space in it
will also will fail if you don't name your desktop
some time is will fail on filenames greater than 8.3 characters.

the brouser sometimes doesn't recover (???) when it fails the first tiem. kill it and start again.

if you have no piccy loaded, do not hit the delete button. This will cause it to fail and you will need to restart the brouser again.

Hmmm...the file I was trying to load was named theoden.jpg so there shouldn't have been a problem.

I'm also befuddled as to why I can't post a message to the message boards over there but I can fine over here.

It's not a major problem, but I guess I'm just aggravated at the little red x on my profile screen.

Hey, if somebody at Stardock can just delete that little red x for me, I won't bother you anymore! I don't even need a profile picture!

Theoden of Rohan, e-mail [email protected].  He should be able to figure out why you can't post on wincustomize or edit your account.
