Starting in a simple Roman province, gamers start off by building a small city from meager beginnings. With the included Emperor expansion, the adventure continues across Cleopatra's Egypt in the fertile Nile Delta, the cold environs of Britannia, the forests of Germania, and more. Players will also need to keep the gods appeased or risk disaster when they grow angry.
