The "special folder" images (which are found in "My Music", "My Pictures", "My Videos", etc.) are in the explorer shell files, and the only way I know of short of hacking the appropriate explorer file, is to use a third party skinning program.

As far as using Stardock products goes, you would use the following method:

1 - Use the "SkinStudio" program to create a WindowBlinds skin.

2 - Use "WindowBlinds" to apply the skin.

The quaility of your GUI would then depend on the amount of effort and skill put into such a method.

Note - you could also take a current skin, and change the special folder images for ones you want to use, and save that skin. This would be done in SkinStudio as well.
