Multiplicity Security / Encryption Info

I'm looking for information as to how Multiplicity communicates between machines. Is there any type of security involved or are keystrokes / clipboards / files sent in plain text?

I'm looking at using this within a corporate environment and would be controlling a system where I would be entering administrator passwords, if those passwords are going over the network in plain text then this is not an option.

IIRC, MP does not encrypt data but I don't have any packet sniffers to check what it might find.

Is this still the case or is data now encrypted? I am in a simmilar situation where I reoutinely access secure systems and I cannot have these credentials going out in any non-encrypted fashion.
