Have these been fixed in WB 5?

I currently run WB 4.6 rather than 5 for several reasons....

1. My favorite skin, Triax, displays globby pull-down menu buttons.

2. It doesn't skin Outlook Express 6 pull-down menu bar properly.

3. It doesn't skin console windows.

Have these problems been corrected yet in the latest version of 5?

Console windows are still problematic for WB5, I understand, & I believe console window skinning is still turned off by default.

As for the other two issues, some screenshots would help understand what Triax is doing.

Here's a link to a screen capture.  I'm not sure if the link will work...

It actually looks a little worse than it shows in the screen capture.

By the way, Brewman's DogmaX used to have the blobby buttons problem, too.  When he took it down from winCustomize a while back, he eventually tweaked it and then put it back up again.  The blobby buttons are no longer a problem now.  I don't recall if the tweaked DogmaX skinned the Outlook Express pull-down menu bar, though.

Might email brewman directly or post a comment in the skin's comment section in WC. Maybe he can help sort it out.

I actually did post a comment on his Triax area, but have had no responses concerning it.  I tried his posted email, but it's no longer current.

Of course, I am still of the opinion that the blobby buttons and failure to skin the OE 6 pull-down menu bar are Stardock's problem, and not Brewman's.

I also sent an email to Stardock shortly after WB5's release, but got no response from that either.

Update!  I tried brewman's email address again, and this time it didn't bounce back at me.  He sent me a tweaked version of TriAX that fixes the blobby buttons problem.  But alas!  It doesnt' solve the failure of WB5 to skin the drop-down menu bar in Outlook Express.  Nevertheless, now that I have both of my favorite skins looking a bit more prim, I have decided to keep WB5 installed this time.
