Confused About Current Version of the GalCivII

I'm confused about the current released version of the game. Is it version 1.0X.2?

When I click on "Update Game" from the opening game menu, I am taken to the GalCivII downloads. Clicking on the "Retail Update" button brings me to the Collector's Edition Bonus Downloads??? Is this correct? Does Bonus Pack Download = Update Game to Latest Version?

Any clues?

Yes, the bonus pack download from the web site includes/is the latest official version of the game.
