Collectors Edition - Whats it do?

I bought Collectors edition and can enable the in game content. But what exactly does that mean? What is it, what does it do?
I don't want to be enabling scripting and complicating things, but if I get extra ships and stuff cool...

If you got the CE via download, you have a few new jewlery items to decorate custom ships with. They are identified as Collectors Edtion or something like that when you view them in the Ship Builder.

If you have the boxed version, you also got a printed Tech Tree and a cool silver box.
