Failed to Download

A few days ago I bought Object Desktop. Then I started to download some things from wincustomize.com with the browser.
Since today everytime I try to download a file, i get a "Failed to download." message.
I subscribed to wincustomize in hope of beeing able to continue my downloads. It doesn't work. I also tried it on two different Computes with no success.
Can anyone help me? I'm an IT-Professional, so if there would be some way to get more detail on why the download fails, maybe I could fix this problem on my on.
But just an: "Failed to download" doesn't tell me much.
