Need Advice - PNG to TGA Conversion

I'm not a new skinner, but I'm new to creating .tga's. I'm using PSP8 and I've been able to convert a .bmp to a .png file with transparency saved to the alpha channel. I can see the .png file in Explorer and it displays with correct transparency in the thumbnail preview. When I open it in PSP8, then save it as a .tga file, it ends up a 0px by 0px image when selected/assigned in SKS. I can load the .tga up again in PSP8 & it looks normal, but SKS is somehow seeing it as 0x0. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,
Daiwa

Don't save as tga in psp8, import .png into SKS and let it convert it to tga.

Hmm. I saved the .png in the skin folder (& it's there in Explorer) but the file doesn't show up in the dropdown list in SKS for me to select it. Do I need to literally use the "Import" button?

Thanks a bunch, Cavan.

Yes!, you literally have to import it, after which SKS turns it into a tga file!
