CTD when saving with 4B

Since playing with 4B, I have have been CTD when trying to save the game. The game seems to crash about 1 out 3 saves. I am playing a gigantic galaxy. I have tried starting multiple games and I recieve the same error. The crashing percentage seems to stay the same as the game evolves. Is anyone else having this issue?

FYI - I am playing on an Athalon 800, 512Mb RAM, and Geforce 4

Brian, do you have Smart Exception installed on your machine, and does it pop up a message offering to submit the crash log? The Sumbit part doesn't work, but if you click on Open Log Directory, it'll open up the folder where the log files are and you can e-mail them.

I will try that tonight when I get home. I did notice another twist to this problem. Three out of three times it CTDed on the forth save. I did notice that if I saved the game right after the third save, without moving or choosing anything, the save was successful, but once I made a move and tried to save it would CTD. I hope that was not too confusing. ;)

Interesting. Can you send me your save game files and your prefs.ini file (the one from your data folder)?

I need both the .sav file from the Save Games directory and the corresponding folder with all its files.
