Game slowdown - 4B

I was playing a game and the YOR had a rebellion. Their single system did not change ownership though. After the news event screen the game seriously slowed down. Everything was 10-20 times slower. From the onscreen graphics to the movement. Here is the last 2 turns of the debug.err file (no crash so no smart exception). Can't see anything obvious.

Did you try hitting the Esc key? Sometimes it could be that there's a screen in the bcakground running?

Brad,

If the YOR only had one star system and had a rebellion, couldn't the code be trying to handle two civs sharing the same planet cause some serious bit twirling? Perhaps a rebellion should not be permitted when only one planet is available for the split.

Escape key fails to work. Also the game still behaves like this when reloaded so I'll send the saved game to you now. Everything is just 10-20 times slower!
