Request for Modding Shipbuilder

Please give us the ability to define categories/tabs

Loving the game, just starting on my first mods.

Concerning extras: I've been playing around with Kyro's hull mod (awesome mod by the way, kudos!) and decided that I'd try to label (generically) the various jewelry. I esssentially numbered them, and found something interesting. There are something like 25 pieces of jewelry in the G2Types.xml, but there are actually more then that displayed in the Shipbuilder. I numbered them Structure 001 through 025 and there under up being (IIRC) about three sets of 001-010.

Soooo, how do I identify a single piece of jewelry when it can sometimes be more then one piece eventhough it has only one xml entry?

I believe if you try to change the following xml piece:

...to this...

...you'll see 2 or 3 entries with the name 'Structure 001', but with different pieces of jewelry.

Again, please correct me if I'm wrong about that; I don't have the game here at work so I can't test to confirm.

One thing I would like to know is how the ShipBuilder determines what falls under the three tabs (Yours, Generic and Other). There isn't a tag in the G2Types.xml (at least that I've seen so far, love to be corrected here).

My further request is to have the ability to create my own structure categories, like Favorites or some such, so that I can put the jewelry I most use into this category (even if I have to do it by hand in the xml file).

Which tab it goes under is decided by the SX_ prefix on the model name itself. S0-S4 designate it for a certain race, S5 is dreadlords, and S99 is Misc.

So, if I copy and rename the model names, then I can change which tab it falls under?

Any idea on the sort order? I've currently got blank hulls interspersed with jewelry in a seemingly haphazard way.
