HAMAS VOWS DEATH TO AMERICA

Israel did the right thing in assassinating Yassin, the founder of the terrorist organization, Hamas. Since 1990 Hamas has killed thousands of Israelis in scores of attacks. Hamas wants to kill every Jew in the world. For the first time Monday, Hamas vowed they would link up with Al-Qaida and kill Americans every chance they get.
Hamas believes that Americans told the Israelis to assassinate Yassin. An American counter terrorism official said that they would take Hamas' threat very seriously. Israel said it would press ahead with more targeted attacks and raids in order to help America fight terrorism. Sharon said that the war against terror has not ended and will continue day after day, everywhere.
After the attack, residents rubbed their hands in pieces of gravel mixed with Yassin's blood, a traditional sign of anger and a preparation for revenge. The massive outpouring of support for Hamas showed how formidable a rival the Islamic group has become to Arafat's weakened Palestinian Authority. Arafat also fears he may be next on Israel's hit list.
Yassin's killing will surely weaken Hamas. The killing virtually buried hopes of reviving the road map, which envisioned an end to violence and the creation of a Palestinian state by next year.
The appeasing European's condemned the killing. But what else would you expect from a continent that is even too cowardly to fight for their own survival.
