Remove Trashcan, My networks and My computer icons.

Hello again.

I've yet again searched for an answer to remove trashcan, my networks and my computer icons from my desktop, both on google and on the forums here. But I couldn't find an answer on how to remove them.

This is my current desktop, and as you can see I'm stuck with these icons. And it's pretty annoying and ugly :/.

The OS I use is Win2k.

Does anyone know how to remove them, and/or if it's even possible?

Right-click on desktop.
Choose properties
Click on desktop tab
Click on the Customize Desktop button
Uncheck whatever you feel like unchecking
OK
OK

Tweak UI will do what you want. If you decide to remove this program at a later date be sure to show those icons you have hidden. Read the instructions and warnings.

The link I gave was for Windows 2000 version as the requester mentioned as his operating system. Not sure if the Windows XP version will work as well. Only way to find out is to try it.

Try control panel> display> desktop> customize desktop and uncheck unwanted icons.... or in IconX> options, you can do it there also.

I am pretty sure that feature isn't there in Windows 2000. People, he is on 2k, please read. TweakUI2k also has no feature to remove all of these. Best try would be DesktopX or IconX.
