My New Home

As some of my regular readers have figured out (sheesh, I have regular readers?), I "made it in one piece." I've reported into my gaining unit, signed my lease, and I'm actually on PTDY (Permissive Temporary Duty... kind of like a free vacation to get settled into my new home) until next Thursday. This week is actually Spring Break, so I have a couple of guys visiting me for some fun times. I've seen way too many kids DVDs (multiple times each, mostly), Shaggy Dog in the theatre, and played a lot of Star Wars Battlefront II. We've done Applebee's, McDonald's and Mr. Gatti's, as well as the standard fare at home. (I'm dying for a microwave, though.)

I need some more furnishings, but I need to set a budget for myself, too. I'm looking forward to really turning this two-bedroom apartment into "my place." I think it's going to be good for me...

It's always kind of exciting settling into a new place.

The kids videos I know all about. There are way too many that I can recite by heart.

Isnt Battlefront II a great game and isnt that the most unexpected thing from my mouth?
Anyhow....I am glad you got to your new home in one piece. You still never emailed me. I am really hurt, but I still miss you.
