Archive and Restore Game Problems

Hi,
Has anyone managed to archive the game using Stardock Central and then restore it on a different machine (as the licence and FAQ tell you you can)?

When I tell it to archive I get four sdc files whereas the FAQ says I shoud get a zip file. Even when I put these four files in the archive directory of Stardock Central on another machine it seems to see that they are there but then tries to redownload the game anyway when I click install - not feasabile as the other machine only has slow dial-up access and so there is no way it can download the game.

This is really annoying as I bought the download version thinking it would be easier and would give more money back to the developers than the boxed version yet I haven't yet been able to play the game. I downloaded and archived at work and clearly can't now get it to install at home.

Anyone have any suggestions, please?

Can you make sure to contact [email protected]? These more technical StardockCentral related questions are probably better left to them, since most of use game developers dont fully understand the mystical forces that drive SDCentral

But if anyone's had this same issue, please chime in!

Thanks I've sent an e-mail to the support address. I was just hoping someone else may have had the same problem.= so I wouldn't have to bother support!

Interestingly I just had Startdock Central update itself and I re-generated the archive. I noticed the contents of the files is different (7-Zip spots that it is actually a zip file allowing me to see inside) and so maybe this will now work.

I'll post again tomorrow when I've tried it at home.
