Wow.. and ouch

I purchased and downloaded the object desktop package just yesterday, and now my entire machine has gone for a fit... I've tried uninstalling, going back to a restore point, and I'm still glitched up.  The task bar locks and takes approximately 5 min to load (have an hourglass and lockout the whole time) and on reboot/startup my machine now beeps incessantly at me.. *cries* I only wanted to change my desktop, and my Gateway 836GH is now in Meltdown mode.. Any ideas?  (the program seems to work just fine on a second machine  ~the crappy, homemade 2nd desktop at home~ I tried it on.. so I'm totally puzzled)

*Edit* ok nearest I can figure.. somehow my keyboard (Saitek Gamer's.. got drivers or something botched, as this occurs only when the keyboard is plugged in.. ~no idea~ and it continues now that , so far as I can tell all the stardock software is gone)
