Victory Conditions

...can they be changed?

Well, my questions simple, and I'm pretty sure I know the anwser. I started a game with all the victory condtions in place, but now that the game has been going, I want to shut off the cultural and research victory, as those would be the easiest way to win thanks to how I started on the map.

So, can they be disabled once the games started? Even if it requires a form of cheating, I'd like to know, I wanna win by military might alone!

I don't think they can, but don't take my words for it.

You can easily control whether you win a research victory or not (just don't research that last tech and set the spending to 0). Cultural victory might be a bit trickier though.

It may be possible with cheating but without it you can't

I don't think you can switch victory conditions in game, if there is it would be only through cheating as it would make it easy to stop an AI player who is about to win by turning off the victory he was about to do.

I now always turn off cultural and research victories now, I'd rather blast my way to victory.
