VR centers

First off I have to say I love the game and have become thouroghly addicted. However I am having a small problem. With the 1.0x patch I thought that VR centers and stock markets were improved but this doesn't seem to be the case. If my memory serves me correctly the improvement before VR centers gives +55% to morale bonus while VR centers give +40%. The same held true for stock markets (although they gave other bonuses such as morale) but were still under banking centers. Is this just a problem with my install or are others having this issue too?

Be sure you have started a new game post-patch. Savegames include all the game data inside them, so they will not reflect most patch changes if you updated in the middle of a game.

Yeah played a new game just did battle of the Gods start with all techs to see end game improvements VR centers +40% morale 2 bc for maintenance. While previous tech is 55%. Banking centers are +24% econ stock markets are 15% and 10% morale + 5% influence which is slightly more resonable. Maybe they were worse before and I am just forgetting things.

Sounds like you don't actually have the latest patch then. A quick check of my data files shows 60% on VRC, and 50% on the prior level of entertainment.

Thanks maybe my download was corrupted. I am on dial-up on this computer and it has problems with decent size files. Maybe I will just wait till I get back to campus. Thanks for the info knowing one of my biggest issues was fixed is a relief.
