KERRY: NO FOREIGN ENDORSEMENTS, PLEASE

With Endorsements Like These, You Don’t Need Political Enemies

Recently there has been a lot of press coverage about foreign governments endorsing John Kerry for president. The statement below was in a news article I read today.

Kerry Foreign Policy Adviser Rand Beers issued the following statement today: “It is simply not appropriate for any foreign leader to endorse a candidate in America's presidential election. John Kerry does not seek, and will not accept, any such endorsements.”

Here’s a partial list of foreign governments who secretly endorse John Kerry…

FIDEL CASTRO………………………………....CUBA
JOSE LUIS RODRIGUEZ ZAPZTERO………..SPAIN
KIM JONG………………………………...........NORTH KOREA
MOHAMMAD KHATAMI……………………….IRAN
BASHAR AL-ASSAD…………………………..SYRIA
JACQUES CHIRAC…………………………....FRANCE

Actually, it is just my opinion that these leaders would endorse John Kerry. I’m not sure if they really do or not. But I would certainly think that any enemy of America would want bush out of power and John Kerry in power. The enemies of America would stand a much better chance of crushing us if John Kerry were to become president.

While I agree that no candidate should ever be interested in or look for endorsements from another country, I disagree with your end statement. Why do you believe this? Do you have any indication that this would be the case or is it just a gut feeling?

I think the reason why there is so much interest in the Kerry campaign all over the world is because he is in the best position to defeat George II. Interest does not mean endorsement. I have already discussed this in my Blog "The Kerry Test anfd American Foreign policy"

To say that Kery would be a weak and spineless leader is false as he has been tested under fire. Further, as Thucydides said in his History of the Peloponesian War, people will always mirepresent prudence as cowardice because in war language changes the meaning of ordinary words.

MOHAMMAD KHATAMI……………………….IRAN

Yeah, too bad that the actual TRUTH is that Iran's official position is that it wants Bush to be elected.

Glad to see you have a clue what your talking about instead of just talking out of your far-right-wing ass. [sarcasm]

So aside from right wing proaganda sites, the ONLY endoresment from ANY of those countries I can find for EITHER candidate is Iran for Bush. Figures that the truth has no place in your 'logic' though, seeing as how you appear to be another blind right wing foot soldier. However, in my search, I did come across this endorsement from former US embassadors for Kerry:
