Low-tech users

Game sucks

I would have only one wish: that the game creators could think about users of low-tech computers. Of course if a low-tech is AMD Athlon 1800+, 512MB RAM and... yeah, GForce 3 Ti.

Everything works fine,the game runs smooth...but without Pixel Shader the ships have no textures, I can't see the planets on map screen... I've been playing games with much bigger requirements and they ALWAYS had an option for playing on some lower graphic card or even a possibility to change the version of used Pixel Shader.

That's why I say that the game SUX

Update your drivers. It works just fine on a very similar system I just replaced (XP 1800 with a 64mb GF3 Ti200).

I run the game with a 1200 Mhz Athlon, also with a Geforce 3 Ti. To make it usable, I really can't zoom in to see the planets: the system slows down too much. But at the tactical level, the game is great. Without up-end hardware, I don't expect much more.
