Mouse doesn't work in windowed mode and now I can't change it back..

I've been playing the game for a while already and I changed it to windowed mode through the options to see what it was like. After I restarted the game, I see the intro scene and when I click the mouse button it goes to New game..Loadgame...I can move the mouse around, but it doesn't activate any menu buttons and there is no mouse over color change on the buttons either.

Now I have a bigger problem because I can't get into Options to change it back to full mode. Does anyone know how to reset the settings through a .cfg file or something? I looked using windows explorer but didn't see anything obvious. I'm an advanced user so suggest anything. I can reinstall if I really have to

You can change it back to fullscreen buy editing you prefs.ini, in the My Games/Galciv2 folder. There is a line that reads fullscreen = Make it = to 0 for windowed, 1 for fullscreen.

Thanks, that worked. I forget that games place files in the My X folder..I always just look in the program files\stardock area

my mouse is a logitech wireless G7 if that matters.

I can't get windowed mode to work no matter what I try.
