Where are Rocky and Mick when you need 'em

News via AP (Associated Press) that a rooster now rules the roost at Punta Gorda, Florida, city hall. The rooster was apparently orphaned due to Hurricane Charley in 2004. Since that time the copper-colored fowl, in a show of fiestiness, has interrupted city meetings and prompted neighbors to call animal control after he woke them up with his crowing starting in the early morning hours.

Apparently the city employees have a soft spot for the rooster, claiming that he's become a mascot of sorts.

Unfortunately animal control officials have been unlucky thus far in catching the bird, claiming he's too quick.

Again, I wonder where good ol' Mick and Rocky are when you need them? Good ol' Burgess Meredith had Sly in great shape for catching roosters at least once in that series ;)

Gentle forum bump...

Those that grew up on farms and had chicken's around are probably well familar with the difficulties of catching chickens. I'm sure there's more than a few country boys and gals that could catch him, but it's not necessarily easy.
