Allah or Jesus?

Allah or Jesus?

It's all about Love or is it?

I've read this before and just received it again. It's worth repeating and I think thought provoking. Can you imagine if we all were trying to kill each other just to get into heaven? It's quite a contrast to the words of Christ.."There is no greater Love than this one that is willing to give up his life for another."

Allah or Jesus? by Rick Mathes..........

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their belief systems.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked, "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"

The _expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

He sheepishly replied, "Yes."

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"

The Imam was speechless.

I continued, "I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs.

here's another.....from truth or fiction.com

Summary of the eRumor
A story said to be written by prison minister Rick Mathes describes a confrontation between him and Moslem during a prison training session for those who have clearance to visit the prison.
He challenged the Moslem about whether Islam teaches the killing of infidels and allegedly reduced him to child-like shame.

The Truth
We contacted Rick Mathes, founder of Mission Gate Prison Ministries in Chesterfield, Missouri, and he stands by his story.
There have been some published reports from critics of Mathes' article who say the confrontation did not take place the way he describes and that the Moslem who spoke at the conference was not an Imam, but a prisoner who volunteered to speak as a Moslem.
Rick Mathes says that the man was introduced at the meeting as an Imam and that the story happened as he describes it.

But you believe whatever it is you need to believe to make it through the day

No Dharma,

You couldn't be more wrong about me. You have no idea. I am a truth seeker. I've left nice comfy religions because I studied myself out of them. I'm a junkyard dog with a bone when it comes to any sort of truth. I can't stand lies and I would never ever purposely spread one. This whole piece was mostly just thought provoking in my opinion and by the likes of it here....I guess it was for you too.

I'm not into fiction.....at all!!! I am not only NOT seeking to have my ears tickled, I don't tickle others as well.

This is not a total work of fiction as Dharma is leading us to believe

So, you're discrediting the other eyewitness accounts in favor of the person you'd LIKE to believe? Yeah, that sounds about right.

No Dharma,

You missed my point. You WANT to believe its' true, and you've already demonstrated that by disregarding the other people who were there and said that they heard nothing of the sort go down. So, you believe what you want to.

As for nice and comfy religions....yeah, I'm not going to go there. I'll just say that the path I travel isn't easy either. You don't have the monopoloy on difficult faiths y'know. Perhaps you should ask a Jew how it is to walk in their shoes sometime.

And I was doing so well resisting the samsara here too....

Oh, and one more thing: Stute was the first one to say he had issues with the validity of the story. I was just the one who took the time to research it...and other people agreed with Stute and I, in case you didn't notice.

But you can blame it on me, you can say I led people astray if it makes you feel better. I'll understand.

Hi

Just as in the Torah or the Bible, the Koran can be utilized to justify most anything...all depends upon the individual inturpretation.

Problem with Islam is it's due a reformation, perhaps the current strife will produce a Muslim Luther.....

One has to remember all of the prophets, universally recognized by the monothesic religions, were preaching the following of the one God, be his name Yahwe, Allah, God, etc....SSDD

The thing that indicated to me that it was just another idealized, falsified inbox-stuffer was that the guy was just so damn clever and correct. Outside of movies and books, few people are that quick on their feet. Dead giveaway.

Snopes.com rocks, but man.....they really do have lots of time on their hands, don't they?

Interesting thread with some interesting input. The truth is SOME Imams do indeed preach death to, basically, everyone else. I've never heard a Christian or Jewish leader preach this. Not in modern times, anyway.

The truth is, humans are a violent and brutal species. Period. They, we, find excuses to kill our fellow humans. It's what we do.

Again I'll say I have never heard of a muslim cleric denouce violence. I listened for this when the planes went into the building, I waited when three Christian girls were beheaded on their way to school in Indonesia. Not a word. How about when Muslims murdered over 80 tourists in Egypt with car bombs outside cafes and hotels? Nope. Not a word again.

How about the time they killed teachers and kids in Russia, even shooting children in the back? Any outrage then? Nay.

Who remembers the Munich Summer Olympics? Did we hear a cleric stand up then when the Athletes were killed. Negative once again.

How about when a Muslim attacked a Missionary Children's school in India and killed six?

Do they speak up in a rage when the Muslims print anti-semtic cartoons in Muslim newspapers?

What about the times we see them beating dead charred bodies in a mob?

No, No, and No. We don't see any Muslim outrage.

But wait......there is one time.....yes,

it's when Denmark and Norway dared to print a cartoon of Mohummed. Muslims are outraged.

Death, destruction and mayhem are all around them. I'm not saying all, mind you. But the peaceful ones are not saying a word and the clerics are mum about all this? Why? Because they know their own people will turn against them. They are scared.

When do we start to get outraged and say enough is enough!!

Yes I agree. Christians are all going to hell.

The Christian tree is about as evil as it gets. In fact, the more faith you apply in the name of Christianity, the more evil you do. Its kinda like phsychosis.

You agree with whom? Satan?

Hello KFC, My guess is there are a number of Imams trying to quell the violence and speak toward a middle way. That we don't hear it is mostly that we are not there to hear it or we choose not to. I withhold judgement of this. I have not attended a Muslim service and do not know any Muslim clerics. I wish I did. The questions are interesting. As to Christian hate, as a Jew who grew up in the south, there was no shortage of it. As a Buddhist I get it all the time from my loving Prince of Peace brothers. It certainly wasn't a Star of David burning in the front yard of a black guy strung up and scalded in tar. The most frothing at the mouth pro-war, pro-death penalty people I've ever heard are Christians. As someone said earlier, there's enough hate to go around.
Be well.

I agree Sodaiho. There is much hate going around. But please know that a Christian is not called to hate. If they are, most likely they are a very weak Christian or not one at all but in name only.

I'm sorry that you felt persecuted in your faith. It shouldn't be like that especially those that call themselves Christian. It gives a bad name to Christ. He is very grieved when he sees this. The Jews have been the most persecuted people on earth, almost being wiped out a few times...yet they continue to be the pall bearers at their enemies' funerals time and time again and they flourish. There's a reason for this.

I consider myself a "spiritual" Jew. I believe we all have to be if we want to spend eternity with Christ. We as Christians are adopted into or grafted into the Abrahmaic tree.

I believe the persecution you had was not from the people but from the one that is controling these people. I believe it's a spiritual thing. Jesus is about love. Satan fuels the hate not Christ. Satan hates the Jews and has also included the Christians in that hate. So when you see this hate in the faces around you....think what's going on behind the scene. There's more than meets the eye.

I believe the Jews still are God's chosen people and he's not done with them yet. Satan hates God and knows that to get to Him he goes after those He loves.

A Simmering Volcano
By
Rick Mathes

America is in an epidemic of crime that is sweeping the inner-cities and plying on the young minorities to “join the family.” In St. Louis as well as in other major cities the majority of children are born to fatherless homes and ironically most black men killed are murdered by black men. And our prisons are disproportionately populated by a black population. And now the nation of Islam is sweeping up those that our educational system and racial prejudices have left behind. How can anyone be surprised that minority retribution is cloaking itself within the blessings of Allah? Dumbing-down is backfiring!

Financed by the white suburban addicts buying up all the “white” heroin and meth anyone can produce, these home grown terrorists are raping and pillaging their own neighborhoods as gang after gang hook up with radical Muslims that will not denounce their evil intentions. The silence of the American Muslim community is deafening. Is anyone awake? The volcano is about to explode.

Prisons are a breeding ground for those who have found violence, crime and drug dealing as a way out of the ghetto. When an inmate is released to society he returns to those “who will take care of him” and stands proudly as a parole that has “earned his stripes.” The young gangsters look up to him and all that he has learned while incarcerated by the “Department of Education.” (Or was that Department of Corrections?) The system doesn’t work and more of what doesn’t work, won’t work!

It has been estimated that at the rate of “black flight” from St. Louis, by the year 2037 the last porch light will go out. The city will be desolate and the suburbs will be the new battle ground. That won’t happen but we can’t ignore those that are left behind and the fractured families that are at the mercy of the militant Muslims that make “Osama bin Laden” look like “Mr. Rogers.”

American terrorists are finding their way into the Muslim community and masking their violence and crime with the blessings of Allah. The Koran points the way to a “better society” that excludes those who don’t believe (infidels). So all those unbelievers are the enemy and the victory must go to Allah no matter what it takes or who it harms in the process.

The fatal attraction is not in some far distant country, it is within the very soul of our major cities.

Someone, someday will pen the “Rise and Fall of America” and maybe we have helped him write the final chapter with our tolerance of the silent Muslim community that may very well be a simmering volcano.
