Building ships out of game?

Is there a mod or download somewhere that would allow me to build ships when I'm not in a game? I like building ships, and I like using them in my games, but pretty much all of the ones I build are only useful in certain situations in certain games. I'd like the opportunity not only to mess around with all the components, but to build some standardized ships that I can use in any game as early as possible.

Plus I haven't actually gotten into the super-late game yet and haven't seen the "large" category ship hulls and I'd really like to mess around with them.

Meanwhile I've heard you can launch a bogus game using the... Battle of the Gods scenario I think, which gives you all tech right away. This way you can design ships, then quit this game and go back to regular ones.

if you want to mess around with the large ship hulls, there's a scenario called "Battle of the Gods" or something similar... I'm at work and can't remember exactly...

but, in that scenario, everyone starts with all the techs already researched, so if you load that up you can play around with all the available ship parts.

havnt tried that one yet mostly been doing 4-5civs on medium maps and my own human dregarian wars on duel maps (going to try out a gigantic human vrs dregarian war soon c how that pans out)
