A TIP for planet defense

I feel like im spamming the forums, but I discovered this last night... well i wouldnt say discovered, more like i thought of this and thought id share it with anyone who hasnt thought of it yet.

Anyway...

Once you have the Orbital Fleet Manager, dont bother building your good ships to orbit the planet. I have a ship I call the "Blockade Runner"... basicly just a regular ship, with a cool defensive look, but I give it no engines, just weapons.

You dont need engines to defend your planet, so i just get it chock full of weapons and build it specifically to orbit my planets.

Aye, always a good idea to have some 'system defense' ships around, that bit more space for weapons or defense is to valuable to waste on engines

The stock model comes with engines .... they just VERY slow if you dont add the extra/advanced ones and like you say if you plan on keeping them there then thats all thats needed. Good tip.
